The best way to be successful in the things you want to do is to follow this simple formula. The 3 elements of success: Make a choice, make a commitment, and take action. You want to make sure that choices you make, the commitments you make, and the actions you  take are backed up with integrity and honesty. If your goals are to do things that are dishonest and harmful, then you will not be successful at anything. You will fail! In summary, strive for the 3 elements of success not the 3 elements of failure.

The best way to describe success is the accomplishment of a goal.  In essence, success is an ongoing process.  You need to have goals.  Secondly, you should have short term and long term goals. When making goals, you want them to be SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevent, and Time based.  If you take daily action on your goals, you will be closer to finding success in what you are trying to accomplish.
